We bought two properties off-the-plan from Danson Kwok; one in late 2013 and another in 2014. We are currently residing overseas and are not familiar with Brisbane property market although we have lived in Sydney.
He was helpful and gave us his honest opinions on the properties he recommended. He was able to furnish us information and clarified any doubts or concerns that we have promptly. He personally coordinated most of the administrative services required and followed up on outstanding issues promptly to ensure everything was done in order. He also went the extra mile to step in to help us wherever possible to expedite matters. While the properties were still in the construction stage, he took pictures to update us of the progress. In the initial stages during our decision making to take up the property, he took effort to take pictures of the vicinity of the property to help us better understand the neighbourhood.
Upon completion of the properties, he did the pre-settlement inspection and followed up with the developer to rectify any defects. He also took time to update us with newsletters on the property market in Brisbane, assuring us that our investments are sound. He continues to do so even at this stage. However the attractive expected rental yield projected to us was not realized when the properties were ready to be leased. We understand this is something beyond Danson’s control due to market demand and fluctuations.
Overall, we are very satisfied with his service and assistance throughout the entire process. On the whole, it was a pleasant and smooth experience.
